Melissa is a Canadian artist and stunt performer with over 17 years of experience in film and television. She has worked on acclaimed productions including the 15 Emmy Award–winning series The Handmaid’s Tale (Season 4), where she performed alongside Ann Dowd, as well as the series Gen V and upcoming feature Black Phone 2, working with actors such as Ethan Hawke, Toni Collette, and Christina Ricci.

Her work in stunts spans high-intensity performance, including fire burns, precision falls, and complex physical sequences — developing a deep understanding of movement, control, and presence that now informs her artistic practice.

Raised in a small town on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Melissa’s connection to nature has remained central to her work. Outside of film, she creates floral fine art photography and spends time freediving, often swimming alongside sharks — experiences that continue to shape her perspective on strength, stillness, and the natural world.
