Artist Statement
“My work explores the quiet power held within delicate forms through floral fine art photography.
Travelling between Hawai‘i, Mexico, and Nova Scotia, I am drawn to rare blooms that exist in contrast — soft yet resilient, fleeting yet enduring. Each piece is composed with intention, using light and shadow to create depth, contrast, and presence. I bring the studio into nature. Creating a Life Portrait for each bloom.
My work is often described as dark floral photography, where rich tones and minimal compositions allow each subject to stand on its own. Printed as limited edition fine art, these pieces are designed to transform a space through scale, color, and clarity.
There is a natural connection between my work and the ocean. This extends beyond the image into freediving wetsuits and fins, where floral compositions are translated into movement — creating a seamless relationship between art, body, and environment. Art made for Movement.
My background in performance as a professional Stunt Woman and Actress informs this perspective — an understanding of strength that exists alongside vulnerability, not in opposition to it.
Each work is an invitation to slow down, look closely, and experience the balance between softness and strength.”
“Created for the space where softness meets strength on land and beneath the surface.”
